It is the policy of the Toronto Police Services Board that:
- The Chief of Police will develop and maintain procedures that address the use of volunteers by the Service in accordance with the Adequacy Standards Regulation, including recruitment, screening, training and supervision; and
- The Chief of Police will ensure that records are maintained relating to the use of volunteers.
